Rebecca Ramaglia

Rebecca Ramaglia (she/her) is a dedicated Special Education Teacher living in Orange County, NY, with roots in Hauppauge. With a strong academic background in Child Studies, English, Tolkien, and Teacher Leadership, she channels her expertise into crafting High Fantasy, Science Fiction, Fairy Tale Retellings, and Poetry. Rebecca’s literary influences include the Deverry Series by Katherine Kerr, J.R.R. Tolkien, and the Red Rising Series by Pierce Brown, among others. Outside the classroom and writing desk, she leads two Girl Scout Troops, enjoys the outdoors, gardening, concerts, and traveling, often relaxing with her pets. Having lived in Japan for three years, including during the 2011 tsunami, Rebecca brings a wealth of life experience to her stories. Her ultimate goal as an author is to be published by Tor, a testament to her passion for storytelling.
